Support Their Recovery: Help Lady Walk Again
Meet Lady, a four-year-old Shih Tzu, who was rescued from an abusive puppy mill in 2009. Unfortunately, the tragedy of Lady’s story didn’t end with her rescue:Â Lady has mysteriously lost her ability to walk. We are still unsure of the cause, but we do know that Lady has little muscle tone in her rear legs, so our volunteers have begun to walk her frequently holding with a sling that allows her to move easier and slowly build muscle. She has a long road to recovery ahead of her because she also suffers from skin and dental issues. A dog Lady’s age should be running around, happily chasing balls in her backyard, not wheeling in a cart and undergoing major dental procedures. Please help us to provide Lady, and other special needs animals like her, with the care they deserve by donating today.
